Goals

Everyone remembers taking their last final of High school right?  In my case I sat down to take the test and was sitting next to my friend when we looked at each other and smiled.  No words were needed but we both knew we were going to blow through the test to get to some "after school activities".

I bring this up because this was not a goal at the beginning of the year. Back then I was easily influenced regardless of the intentions being bad or good. Now with being more mature and enrolled in Year Up, my goals are no longer maleable instead they are as strong as concrete. My goals include:
  1. Grasp the concept of blogging and find out whether or not blogging is an interest of mine
  2. To become technically savy in the I.T. field, to the point where I can create a career
  3. Take full advantage of the Business Communication course to improve my grammer and communication skills
  4. Use all of the information provided in the Pro Skills class to not only come across as professional but to also use them in everyday life to better myself for the future.
I believe I will be able to achieve all of these goals so long as I stay commited to the year up program and the guidelines that we are given in order to make this achievable.  Of course this is easier said than done but I plan to knock everything out as soon as it comes up rather than sit around and rush through everything. The days of procrastination are long gone and the days of tackling obstacles have only begun, so all I have to say to my fellow colleagues is "Lets get ready to Rumble!"
